Green Building of Melbourne’s Kangan Institute Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE). ACE has achieved rare dual Green Star design ratings, holding both 5 Star Green Star – Office Design v1 and 5 Star Green Star – Education Design v1 certifications. This project is purely a personal and academic study with no monetary gains , paying homage to the brilliant design of this campus . Modeled with Sketch Up Pro and Cinema 4D AR3.

Finally finished my grain silo project ,close to one year since my last update like so many other large projects I have lurking on my hard drive I simply lost the drive to finish it , a product of way to many ideas going on at once .If your into how I did the modeling click on the label below “ Grain silo WIP “ some pretty decent clay renders there.
Grain Silos like these you don't see out here in San Diego, myself being a transplant from the Chicago area then moving into the southern parts of Illinois in my teens i used to see these types of silos, all had different designs and storage capacities some way larger all stacked in rows and some just plain grain bins . Just one of the things i miss about the Midwest of the US. I hope i captured that rustic atmospheric mood ! Modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D AR3. Click on the images to see the large version for all the details.

Overall a truly fun project to make for starters a concept sketch was created which is located below , the modeling was done in Zbrush with z spheres then exported using the Go Z plugin into Cinema 4D utilizing the hair module and heavy displacement maps with the environments floor , rendered in Cinemas AR3 with GI. Spore has been incarcerated for intergalactic crimes !

- Fictitious Concept and preliminary sketches of a train station study that houses a “ high speed bullet train” , the routes are proposed origins are from the San Diego convention center replacing the old Amtrak line to San Francisco with various stops along the line .
This is the first part /module design of the station it will be as long as the convention center itself, a majority of the rail lines will be underground in the vicinity of the dense area of the convention center / downtown area . Modeled in Sketch UP Pro Post work in Painter and Photo shop , my main goal is to illustrate on a grand scale as a sketch , then later I will render in 3D. This is a work in process.
By any means I am not a architect I just have a passion for concept design ! Click on the image for high resolution viewing .

Fictitious brand name and brake parts assembly of my own design made for an add / marketing campaign. I have had a major hankering to do some hard surface modeling and light set up lately . Was kind of consumed by my digital organic sculpting course at school ! Modeled in Cinema 4D with GI and a 3 point light set up . The brand name of the product “ Odessey” is my handle on several web based high-end galleries on the web .

Top character s was totally unplanned I haven't Z brushed in a while thought I would brush up before I forget how to use the app. Yoshi is one of the more recognizable characters in the Mario Brothers series.
My grandson was asking me to make a 3D version of Yoshi this my adaptation , This is far from the traditional Yoshi 2nd image down. Cheers .

The Great Gazoo is a little green alien who crash landed in prehistoric town of Bedrock from the cartoon The Flinstones after being exiled from his home planet Zetox for crafting a powerful doomsday machine.
After his flying saucer crashes in Bedrock he is discovered by Fred Flintstone and his pal Barney Rubble .Gazoo refers to Fred and Barney as "dum-dums" and constantly causes problems for them !
Old school cartoon from the early 1960's

Final render of my Artificial intelligence android , pretty happy with the end result , All was modeled with in Cinema 4D along with the AR3 module HDRI , GI settings . Rigging the model would eliminate that rigid look possibly for a better pose , next time !
The Most complicated part of the modeling on my A.I. project so far are the hands for me , i just started working on them and have scratched the hand design twice !
I do plan on making more details for the head gear/neck .The face plate is a self modified part of the older 9.0 version of C4D from the browser content , all is modeled with in C4D 11.5 with GI, a total fun project that seems to click ! Some of my other projects seem to lurk on my hard drive for months……
Chest plate of a android concept i have been working on , most of the other pieces are already modeled in stages such as the head ,arms ,legs etc. etc. Modeled in Cinema 4D standard 3 point light set up no GI . Nurbs i love them and then hate them at times !

Sketch up is getting to become one of my favorite tools to use for architectural visuals. By all means I am not a architect but I have been fascinated with it since my younger years, I did study it after high school for a year (this was before CAD programs) but later to find out that mathematics was my stumbling block . The Geisel building was named after Dr. Seuss. The tools used for this project were Sketch up pro 8 , Style Builder and Sketch up layout and Photo Shop . I have always enjoyed the sight of this building here in San Diego, what a sight in the distance !
