Steam Bart 2

Best bart light

Steam punk is a form of alternative technology tinkering, associated with costumers, artists, musicians, computer modifiers, goths, punks, geeks and freaks. Steam punk is brass, clockwork and wood, top hats, corsets and goggles and wild ideas.

Steam Bart1

Best bartFinal render . Steam punk, It is a past that never was but should have been. It is a mash-up of the contemporary and the Victorian, and a rebellion against plastic boxes and disposable culture

GUCCI Porta Pooch

Technology surrounds us. Products are obsolete within an ever decreasing amount of time, putting an increasing strain on our ability to deal with man made waste. Man's recyclable and manufactured surplus as a sculptors medium lends itself to an infinite variety of possibilities, which creates a whole new genre for sculptors'. By intricately integrating and redefining the purpose of reclaimed components, the completion of a sculpture is a triumph over obsolescence and the reward of creative vision. Modeled in Cinema 4D, mimicking Stephanie Halleux sculpture style.

SS Hobart Final Render

Final Beauty shot Hobart

Final Render : The ”Hobart” aka “Steam jacket kettle” a fictional exploratory surface sub powered by steam was manufactured in the in the late 1800s early 1900s. The Hobart had limited dive capabilities also unable to endure long periods of time due to limited air supply , although the design was adapted to fit future WW1 subs , the Hobart had a front double plated reinforced hull to withhold and inflict damage with ramming capabilities due to lack of payload armament , The torpedoes did not have locomotive capability and were more akin to a naval mine than a modern torpedo. A mechanical boom with a torpedo attached to the end was extended to the opposing ship and then detonated later, the Hobart was retro-fitted for a more conventional war/ battle capabilities .

SS Hobart Final Render

The Hobart was modeled in Modo 401 and Cinema 4D R11, and rendered in AR3 render module with GI and HDRI settings . The main goal was to create an environment that resembles a cast Irion mock up of miniature model on display mounted on top of a white marble mantel in a studio setting .

WIP SS Hobart

A Steam Punk style sub in the works , there are some great ideas from a few other fantastic CG modelers who have modeled subs in the past this is my interpretation of what a Steam Punk sub and would look like . Further along with the modeling i do plan to modify the tail fins and rudder possibly more web like in appearance. Remember this is not a deep dive sub only a surface skimmer nick named a "steam jacket kettle"My final plans on the beauty shot is for the illusion of making it look like a scaled model with pitted slightly rusted metal surface , we shall see !
